Experiencing life inside an old house inside even older Medina walls, can be very inspiring and rewarding. It is an alien environment to the structure we come from with it’s unique quirks and habits. An experience which, to me, holds lasting memories.


Each November Riad Laksiba celebrates her Anniversary as a Guesthouse. As we reflect back on each year our little street reenforces that fact that this journey has been a really enlightening experience and I have especially loved the incredible welcome that the Owners family, friends and guests have enjoyed by our immediate environment.

Letting others know about our “little house in the Kasbah” (Translation of “Laksiba”) is a real challenge against so many established accommodations in Marrakech. Naturally we rely on positive feedback to the widest audience.

TripAdvisor is a significant “Virtual Guest Book”.
